I’ve received 3 emails this week from parents asking about next year so I thought I would mention this since 2 of the questions had to do with ages and when the girls can start. At the board meeting last night we discussed creating a new “Tee Only” Division for 5 & 6 year-olds, which would split the 6′s from the 8U Division next season. There are cost factors to consider like new equipment (smaller bats, Tee’s, XXS helmets, etc.), but we are excited about this idea in terms of how it might help prepare the girls for the next “coach pitch” level, and of course giving the younger girls an alternative to coed baseball little leagues.
